Lifeboat Tea Ambassador Olly Hicks is attempting the world record challenge of the first kayak journey from Iceland to Scotland, covering some 500 nautical miles in around 20 days as he follows the migratory route of the Atlantic salmon.

As part of our Extreme Tea initiative Lifeboat Tea has chosen to sponsor Olly Hicks on his record attempt Salmon Run to promote the skill and commitment that the RNLI volunteers show on a daily basis. Olly has an impressive track record for maritime adventures and fits perfectly with Lifeboat Tea’s other Ambassadors. It is hoped that this expedition will help to raise valuable funds for the  RNLI, as well as engaging RNLI supporters and Lifeboat Tea fans in a truly impressive achievement.
